Celebrating local creativity
Lewisham Shopping Centre is proud to support Brockley Max as the much-loved community arts festival returns for its 25th anniversary in 2026.
Running from 29th May to 6th June, the festival will once again bring music, art and performance to south-east London, with a vibrant programme celebrating local creativity.
As part of this year’s partnership, a self-guided mural trail will showcase artworks commissioned over the past 25 years, with a specially created map guiding visitors through Brockley, Ladywell, Crofton Park, Honor Oak and Lewisham.
Three new murals will also be commissioned, including one on the Molesworth Street façade at Lewisham Shopping Centre. Local artists are invited to submit ideas by 17th April via the application form.
Festival activity at the centre
During the festival dates (29th May – 6th June), Lewisham Shopping Centre will host a 1Harmony Radio takeover in Central Square, featuring live broadcasts, busking performances and a mentoring scheme for young people interested in radio and media.
With many free events and activities to enjoy, Brockley Max is a celebration of community, culture and creativity — and Lewisham Shopping Centre is delighted to be part of it.
Applications to perform at Brockley Max are open until 6th April, with stallholder applications for craft and food stalls also available here.
